Palestine Legal is an independent organization that protects the civil and constitutional rights of people in the U.S. who speak out for Palestinian freedom, by providing legal advice, representation, and advocacy support in the face of censorship and repression.
Volunteers (often law students or lawyers) assist by researching anti-BDS bills and university policies, staffing hotlines for activists facing legal threats, helping organize “know your rights” workshops for student groups advocating for Palestine, and supporting public advocacy against laws that penalize pro-Palestine viewpoints.
