The Autistic Self Advocacy Network is a nonprofit organization run by and for autistic people, advocating for the rights of autistic individuals and advancing the neurodiversity movement.
Volunteers (many autistic self-advocates) contribute by writing and translating advocacy materials, organizing local events for Autism Acceptance Month, participating in policy advocacy (commenting on regulations, contacting lawmakers), and supporting ASAN’s online communities and resource projects.
