People's Action is a national network of 40 state and local grassroots organizations committed to economic, racial, and gender justice. It provides training and coordination for its member groups to campaign on issues like healthcare for all, housing justice, climate, and building a multiracial democracy.
Volunteers engage with People's Action by joining its member organizations in their area to knock on doors and phonebank for issue and electoral campaigns, attend People's Action leadership trainings (like deep canvassing workshops), and participate in national days of action or phone rallies to pressure federal officials on the network’s platform (such as canceling student debt or passing bold COVID relief).
